El Monte High School will create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that provides rigorous, relevant, and diverse educational opportunities with a focus on equity, to empower all students to develop the skills needed to achieve the schoolwide learner goals.

Academic Programs

We offer a wide variety of programs designed to help students prepare for their future careers.

  • Dual Enrollment & Advanced Placement

    Students can earn college-level credit and/or placement while still in high school for over 20 courses.

  • Career Technical Education

    This pathway includes advanced coursework and hands-on projects to prepare students for STEM-related fields.

  • Fine Arts

    EMHS offers award-winning fine arts education, which is crucial for developing well-rounded individuals with enhanced creative, critical thinking, & problem-solving skills.
